Standard Arrangements

Format Configuration Features
Long Cased Fans Motor sits directly in the air stream. Sizes from 250mm up to 2400mm.
Short Cased Fans Motor sits directly in the air stream. Sizes from 250mm up to 2400mm.
Belt Driven Axial Fans Motor sits outside of the casing. The impellor is driven by vee belt drive through a shaft and bearings, both of which are located inside a tunnel isolating them from the airstream. Sizes from 700mm up to 1500mm
Bifurcated HD Fans Motor sits within a tunnel isolating it from temperature and contaminants. Sizes from 250mm up to 1500mm
Bifurcated LD Fans Motor sits within a tunnel isolating it from temperature and contaminants. This fan is cheaper but less efficient than the Bifurcated HD fan . Sizes from 250mm up to 1500mm.

Special Arrangements

Format Configuration Features
Direct Driven Axial Plug Fan Impellor type stainless fabricated plate blade. Impellor track with inlet and outlet bellmouth / made from 3mm stainless steel.
Belt Driven Axial Plug Impellor type stainless fabricated reversible aerofoil section blade. Impellor track with inlet and outlet bellmouth / made from 6mm stainless steel.
Short Cased Axial With Bellmouth Cost reduction over standard casing with additional bellmouth, that has to be bolted on. This can also be applied to long cased fans.

Impellors

There is a wide choice of impellors, with varying hub ratios, blade numbers and blade angles. This variety allows us to select the best operating efficiency for a given duty.

Impellor blades can be made of the following materials:-

  • Aluminium – Maximum Temperature is 240ºC.
  • Glass Reinforced Polypropylene (PPG) – Maximum Temperature is 90ºC.
  • Glass Reinforced Polyamide (PAG) – Maximum Temperature is 110ºC.
  • Glass Reinforced Polyamide, Industrial quality (PAGI) – Maximum Temperature is 110ºC.
  • Anti Static Glass Reinforced Polyamide (PAGAS) – Maximum Temperature is 110ºC.
  • Normal & High tensile Carbon Steel – Maximum Temperature is 450ºC.
  • 304 / 316 / 321 Stainless Steel – Maximum Temperature is up to 750ºC.
