This arrangement has an impellor directly mounted onto the motor shaft. The motor is outside of the airstream. The hub of impellor protrudes from the casing. The fan is usually monted on its inlet flange, but can also be mounted from its discharge flange.
RHF uses integral lagging, this means that all of our fans are engineered to allow for integral lagging as standard. The lagging is encased in a ‘second skin’ which not only gives a more aesthetically pleasing finish but allows for easier maintenance as the lagging does not have to be removed.
The maximum air temperature is 250ºC with 50mm integral flange to flange lagging and 300ºC with 100mm integral flange to flange lagging. The impellor can be removed from inlet side only. This casing has 2 further variants, one where the lagging is cut back at the discharge and one where the inlet flange is unlagged.
