This arrangement has an impellor directly mounted onto the motor shaft. The motor is outside of the airstream. The hub of impellor protrudes from the casing. The fan is shown mounted onto an optional channel base. The channel Base comes in 2 variants, one with outriggers and one without. Outriggers enable easy drilling of foundation holes without having to mark and then move the fan.
Maximum air temperature is 200ºC . The casing is split horizontally (discharge angles allowing) to aid impellor removal. The impellor can be also be removed from inlet side, but not from the drive side.
